NUR SPACE
Dear NUR Family,
I am writing to you today to share the bittersweet news that we will be closing our doors. Our lease is ending this summer, and I am pregnant and foresee another long maternity leave. Reflecting back on our nearly five years together, we have built something really unique and special. I am deeply honored and proud of all of the work we have accomplished and I will miss it dearly. However, there is a sweet necessity to slow down and be present to my growing little family. I see this as a temporary pause because that is just simply who I am.
My midwifery work at Maryam will continue. Please follow and support this project as we work towards building a birth center in the Bronx.
We will, of course, support all the Meal Train Families who have signed up.
NUR Midwifery will not be closing. If you are a well-person client or require a gyn visit, please email me directly info@nurmidwifery.com. I will be offering visits through mid May to accommodate as many of you as possible. I imagine I will not be seeing clients for at least 6 months to a year. And as for baby catchingβ¦it is uncertain when the stars will align. I envision being available for repeat clients in the near future, but please reach out if you are considering a home birth.
Save the date for May 18. We will be hosting a Goodbye in the Garden Party and will be offering some of the NUR Space goodies for sale if youβd like to take a piece of the space home.
Our time has been meaningful and precious. I am beyond grateful to have shared meals, weeding sessions and conversations with you all.
With love,
Nuni
