EVENT INFO:
Join us for a blissful afternoon of yoga, acupuncture, and Ayurvedic cuisine meant to reset and recharge as we shift into the Autumn season. Immerse yourself with a one hour nourishing restorative yoga sequence. During which experience an acupuncture treatment meant to soothe and cleanse your nervous system and boost your immunity. Before and after the session gather for Ayurvedic tea, snacks, and a meal that will be served with the seasonal shift in mind. You will emerge better prepared to take on the challenges of the season, renewed and refreshed. All levels welcome. Space is limited to six. We will be requiring proof of vaccination to enter.

Laura Hoffman

Laura Hoffman is a New York State Licensed Acupuncturist, certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

She received her Master of Science degree from Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City. She has also studied at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in NYC, and at American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco.

She worked at the California Pacific Medical Center using acupuncture to treat patients recovering from physical trauma, stroke, and spinal cord injuries.

Laura has studied various modalities to treat conditions including, but not limited to, women’s health, digestive concerns, chronic pain, muscular strain, anxiety, stress, addiction, and insomnia.

She has worked with patients undergoing chemotherapy to help lessen the side effects of treatment.

Laura has studied Chinese Facial Diagnosis with Lillian Bridges, Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture with Virginia Doran, and Chi Nei Tsang, a centuries-old Taoist healing approach, that focuses on gently and deeply using abdominal massage to improve the internal organs.

Tori lives in Tarrytown, NY with her husband and two children. She has been teaching group and private yoga sessions and facilitating women's circles in the Rivertowns for the past 7 years. Since becoming a yoga teacher, Tori has been able to combine her background in mental health with her knowledge of the sacred practices of yoga and meditation, a unique combination that allows her to facilitate an experience for folks where they feel seen and heard.

In addition to teaching Hatha based yoga classes, Tori is passionate about building community through the practices of pre and post natal yoga. These specific classes support students in their journey to parenthood and beyond. Tori believes that when a safe and brave space is created in community a transformative experience is possible.

Tori is also the founder and facilitator of The Yoga Gathering for Mothers, an intimate group for hopeful, new, and experienced mothers that gather to move, breathe, connect, support, and nourish each other through community.

Tori holds certifications in vinyasa (Riverstone Yoga), pre and post natal yoga (Yoga Haven), and trauma informed yoga (Exhale to Inhale and Crossover Yoga Project). Tori also holds a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Pace University.

Stephanie is an Ayurvedic chef, founder of The Wright Methods and former Chef de Cuisine of the Assemblage who develops and curates culinary programming that emphasizes the importance of local, seasonal and sustainable cooking practices for workshops, retreats and branded content. 

Certified in Ayurvedic Nutrition and Culinary studies from Bhagavat Life, the only Ayurvedic culinary school in North America, Stephanie develops recipes for populations with specific dietary guidelines for organizations such as Google, the American Kidney Fund and the American Dairy Council.  By approaching cuisine through the perspective of digestion, her knowledge of seasonal ingredients and recipes provides the basis of her work as an Ayurvedic consultant for Maya Kaimal Foods, Illuminate Foods as well as private clients.
