The NUR Space Student Midwifery support circle is a brave and free space for people on all paths to midwifery. This is a space to relax, connect, and hold space for each other amidst difficult dialogues, and the terrain of birth work. The focus of this group is to find support within our community, for our own emotional and mental health. This is a place to use mindfulness practices to find solace, support, conversation and guidance; A space to connect with other student midwives to form solid relationships so that we can best serve our communities. Additionally, this group values and utilizes the foundations of reproductive justice as part of our birth work and encourages re-imagining the scope of reproductive healthcare. Join us bi-weekly on Thursday evenings at 8 pm!
