- The cost/insurance

All interested in home birth are welcome - pregnant or not! Caryn will give her personal recommendations when it comes to books, podcasts, food, vitamins, and more.
FACILITATOR BIO:
Caryn Davis had 2 home births in Ossining, NY. Her first was born in September of 2018 and her second in June 2020. After her first birth she felt on top of the world and wanted to shout from the rooftops, "I JUST BIRTHED A BABY, EVERYONE!" It was the hardest and most incredible feeling. Shortly after her son was born, Caryn started attending local mom group meetings, hearing heartbreaking stories about how other women were treated by their doctor(s) and nurses while in labor. After telling her story in some groups, she realized there just wasn't a lot of knowledge around home birth. Mostly just a lot of fear. Caryn and her midwife Nuni, along with another home birth mom started discussing opening a wellness space, a safe space for sharing and caring. And after months of planning, NUR Space was born. Caryn is so grateful to be able to share her home birth experiences in this informative workshop.
